A meeting was held at the Dubai Police Officers Club, headed by His Excellency Major Adel Hassan, and attended by Lieutenant Ibrahim Al Balooshi, the technical team, and the club’s Finance and Procurement Department, to discuss the latest developments and updates to the Officers Club application. The updates were reviewed by Civilian Iman Shaheen, and aim to enhance the application’s functionality and improve the user experience.
Major Adel Hassan stressed the importance of the application as a vital tool in facilitating members’ access to the club’s services, from booking sports and entertainment activities to receiving alerts about exclusive events and offers. The application is an essential part of the club’s vision to transform into an integrated smart environment, in line with Dubai Police’s goals of adopting the latest technologies to serve its members.
However, the meeting revealed some weaknesses that need to be addressed to ensure the application’s efficiency and effectiveness. The technical team pointed out that there are challenges in the application’s response speed during peak periods, which affects the user experience. The need for improvements to the user interface to make it more user-friendly and interactive was also discussed, in addition to enhancing security systems to protect members’ data.
It was agreed that a full report would be submitted by the company implementing the application, explaining the weaknesses, as the report will include a comprehensive analysis of the problems and the necessary recommendations to address them. As part of developing the solutions, the interactive design will be done by Ms. Iman Shaheen, and then it will be reviewed by the artificial intelligence team, after which the team will begin implementing the necessary practical steps to improve the application.
